Steve had worked in the HVAC industry for more than 20 years before opening his home inspection company. In addition to his customer service responsibilities he also provided training for employees at both the contractor and wholesale level for many of those years. Steve had managed the controls department for 16 branches of a local wholesaler and was service manager and general manager for two local mechanical contractors
In 1995 Steve and Ed Conrad (also an ASHI member) opened Applied Engineering and Inspections, an engineering and real estate inspection company. And in 1998, incorporated Allied Home Inspections.
Steve is an officer for the North Central Ohio - Chapter of ASHI and has helped to organize the ASHI inspectors study group over the last 5 years. He has been a frequent guest speaker. He has spoken at First Time home Buyer's Seminars, and has assisted with the peer review program for the Great Lakes Chapter of ASHI. He has provided educational training seminars for the real estate industry as well. He is the treasurer for the ASHI inspectors study group.
He is a graduate of West Side Institute of Technology. He has received extensive training and educational certifications from many large manufacturers including Honeywell Corporation, Trane Corporation, Carrier Corporation, White Rodgers Corporation, Radalink and many more.
Steve is a member in good standing with the American Society of Home Inspectors, the Better Business Bureau, North Central Ohio Chapter of ASHI, Ohio Chapter of ASHI, FREA and is an affiliate member of CABOR.
